MASTERS PROGRAM 2008: RESIDENTIAL AND ON-LINE STUDY PROGRAMS

The FPMT Masters Program in Buddhist Studies of Sutra and Tantra hosted by Lama Tzong Khapa Institute consists of a full-time residential study program and a parallel on-line program using the latest e-learning technology. The program is held nine months a year, from mid-January to the end of June and from the beginning of September to mid-December, with classes Monday to Friday.

The FPMT Masters Program 2008 consists of six years of study and a total of one year of retreat. The curriculum of the FPMT Masters Program 2008 covers the same five subjects studied in the previous program with the addition of three one-month retreats that provide important time to contemplate and integrate the subjects studied.

Students can join the Masters Program 2008 for the study of all five subjects or for a period of one or more subjects. Only those residential and on-line students who complete the entire program and meet the respective requirements will qualify for a final FPMT Masters Certificate (see residential certification and on-line certification).
