Essential (already known as Universal)
Education expresses Lama
Yeshe’s great educational vision, and
organizes many initiatives aiming at the maturation
and increase of the innate potential of wisdom,
compassion, enthusiasm and love which are
innate in every person, regardless of age,
culture or faith.
Essential Education projects have been supported
and developed also from
Lama Zopa Rinpoche, through the foundation
of UCWP (Universal Compassion and Wisdom for
Peace) E.E., to which His Holiness the Dalai
Lama granted the honour of His support in
December 2006.

In summer 2004 the initiatives of Essential
Education Camps have resumed
also at LTK Institute (seat of the very first
Summer Camps since 1984, for
some years).
During the Camps, working on a specific subject
through various creative
activities, a group of qualified educators
proposes an experiential-educational
process, inspired on E.E. principles. All
gathered together with a wise mix of
joyous and playful energy, healthy humor,
and the joy of education and selfeducation
while playing!
Following a specific didactic framework, the
camps have as its target youth
between 6 and 17 years of age (divided into
age groups) and their parents
(with the actual participation of at least
one of them).
Summer Camps at ILTK
usually extend for one week in the month of
July,
and are structured in specific activities
with different groups in the morning,
and plenary sessions in the workshops of the
afternoons, where youth and
adults are working together; besides, in the
evening there is a
meeting/show which involves the whole group
of participants.
The titles of the previous Summer Camps are:
The fairies and wizards of the
senses, together with Fosca the witch (2004),
Around the universe in seven
days (2005), Let’s enter in the mirror!
(2006), At the School of the Light’s
Knights (2007), A golden light Compass (2008).
Winter camps at ILTK usually
take place in a week-end in February.
The titles of the previous ones are: The Yes
tree and the No tree (2005), Cultivating kindness
builds peace (2006), Forgiveness: the best
of the
gifts (2007), Sharing the joy, a warm light
on the path (2008), Humility, the true strenght
(2009).

– (PI) Essential Education:
Summer Camp
4-11 July 2010
Let's
raise the anchor,
let's raise the sails!
A jurney
for families looking for references throughout
the waves of everyday life.
A distant and unknown
land for most of the people. A queen, Satya,
an example of truth and wisdom, who knows
how to recognize the Treasures inside of all
those that comes to her court; who knows how
to welcome and listen.
At times we don't know our aspirations, in
other moments we don't know how to realize
them, we are afraid and we stop in front of
inner and outer limits.
If you also have a Treasure inside of youself,
if you have Treasures to realize, your most
beautiful dreams, your deeper aspirations,
follow the road to the kingdom of Atman, remain
by Queen Satya and meet every day the characters
that live in her court.
Set yourself comfortable and observe, but
stay allert because the adventure starts from
here.
In this week we will experiment together all
the levels and the necessary steps to discover
and reveal ourselves, to feed a dream and
begin to put it into practice, and in the
meantime to accept all that we already got.
We will work on this theme, referring also
to tales and myths, through various
and funny creative activities, we will go
through a formative and experiential
process, which is inspired to the principals
of Essential Education.
The Camp is open to youth between 6 and 17
years of age (divided into different age groups)
and to their parents (at least one parent
each family),
with different groups in the morning, and
plenary session in the workshops in
the afternoons, where youth and adults are
working together.
