These courses are inspired by and/or taught by qualified teachers such as the Institute’s two resident lamas, visiting lamas, and advanced students and practitioners. Discovering Buddhism provides a solid foundation for understanding more advanced levels of Buddhist study, while the Basic Program gives a chance for an immersive, residential approach to Dharma study and the Masters Program gives the opportunity for in-depth, intensive philosophical study and practice. A number of other courses are also offered regularly, ranging from modular courses on the Buddhist path in the Tibetan tradition to Zen and Vipassana courses and special events with high lamas, such as retreats and teachings with Lama Zopa Rinpoche and His Holiness Sakya Trizin.
